We Mourn the loss of former Tennessee Room Assistant, Robert D. Taylor

Last week, we were saddened to learn that Robert D. Taylor had passed away July 8, 2014, at his residence in San Bernadino, California.  From 1994 to 2009, he was the Assistant Tennessee Room Librarian.

The library staff and patrons who knew him, even briefly, will never forget his research help or his wonderful singing voice. Although there is sadness at knowing he is no longer with us physically, the spirit of Robert’s enthusiasm for family history and helping researchers will forever live in the Tennessee Room. I know that I will always be thankful our paths crossed.
